Paolo Manghi is a research fellow at Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie dell'Informazione (ISTI), Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Pisa, Italy. His research interests are mainly in the fields of Data Models for Digital Library Management Systems, Types for Compound Objects, data curation in Digital Libraries, service-oriented ICT infrastructures with special focus on data ICT infrastructures. He is currently appointed as a software architect and researcher for the European Commission projects OpenAIREplus, EFG1914, HOPE, and EAGLE.

Łukasz Bolikowski is an Assistant Professor at Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling at University of Warsaw, Poland. He leads a research group focused on large-scale content analysis in academic publications, developing scalable methods of discovering knowledge from publications. He participated in a number of national and European ICT projects, including Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe, the European Digital Mathematics Library and Polish Scholarly Bibliography.

Nikos Houssos, is a research scientist at the National Hellenic Research Foundation/National Documentation Centre, Greece. Technical architect of national scale scholarly communications infrastructures, including open access repositories, CRIS, e-publishing systems, research metrics platforms, bibliographic systems and Union Catalogs. EuroCRIS Board member, active contributor to the CERIF standard data model for Research Information Systems and involved in various EC funded projects in the areas of research infrastructures and digital libraries (OpenAIREplus, EuroRIs-Net+, ArrowPlus). Holds a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. (2004) in Computer Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has served as an adjunct lecturer at the Technical University of Crete (2004-2007).
Jochen Schirrwagen

Jochen Schirrwagen is a research fellow at Bielefeld University Library, Germany. He has a scientific background in Computer Engineering. He worked for the Digital Peer Publishing Initiative for Open Access eJournals at the academic library center "hbz" in Cologne (2004-2008). Since 2008 he is working for DFG and EU funded projects, like DRIVER-II, OpenAIRE and OpenAIREPlus. He is interested in the application of metadata information using semantic technologies for the aggregation and contextualization of scientific content.
